DALL’ACCIAIO AL MITO – La velocità, la libertà ed il lavoro
Il 23 novembre 1946, al Salone del Ciclo e Motociclo di Milano, veniva presentata per la prima volta l’Ape. Un piccolo veicolo destinato a diventare uno dei simboli più riconoscibili del lavoro, dell’ingegno e della mobilità italiana.
Ottant’anni dopo, Ape Club d’Italia torna proprio a Milano, dove tutto è cominciato, per celebrare questo anniversario con un intero weekend dedicato alla storia, alla passione e, naturalmente, alle nostre Ape!
Due giornate, due luoghi simbolo del motorismo italiano e un programma che ci porterà da Milano AutoClassica al Museo Alfa Romeo di Arese.
Un’occasione per ritrovarci, vivere esperienze speciali con i nostri mezzi e ripercorrere insieme una storia che continua ancora oggi.
SABATO 21 NOVEMBRE – MILANO AUTOCLASSICA
Fiera Milano Rho
Il nostro weekend comincia a Milano AutoClassica, uno degli appuntamenti di riferimento per gli appassionati di motorismo storico.
E questa volta non saremo semplici visitatori: entreremo direttamente in fiera a bordo delle nostre Ape!
Un’opportunità per vivere la manifestazione da protagonisti, portando i nostri mezzi in un contesto che riunisce veicoli storici, collezionisti e appassionati.
Durante la giornata sarà possibile visitare Milano AutoClassica e partecipare a un appuntamento dedicato proprio al nostro mondo.
Ore 15:30 – Convegno “80 anni di Ape e l’apismo”
Un incontro per ripercorrere gli ottant’anni dell’Ape, ma anche per raccontare l’apismo: quella passione che ha trasformato un mezzo nato per lavorare in un’occasione di incontro, amicizia e condivisione.
In serata – Serata conviviale
Concluderemo la prima giornata insieme, con una serata dedicata ai partecipanti. Un momento per ritrovarsi, raccontarsi viaggi ed esperienze e condividere la passione che ci unisce.
DOMENICA 22 NOVEMBRE – MUSEO ALFA ROMEO
Arese (MI)
La seconda giornata ci porterà al Museo Alfa Romeo, un luogo che custodisce una parte importante della storia industriale e automobilistica italiana.
Qui celebreremo l’ottantesimo anniversario dell’Ape con un programma che unisce l’esperienza diretta con i nostri mezzi alla scoperta di storie e collezioni straordinarie.
Ore 10:00 – Le Ape in pista!
La giornata inizierà con un’esperienza davvero particolare: un giro sulla pista del Museo Alfa Romeo direttamente a bordo delle nostre Ape.
Un’occasione insolita per portare un veicolo nato per il lavoro su un tracciato legato alla storia dell’automobile. Non una prova di velocità, ma un momento da vivere insieme e da ricordare.
Ore 11:00 – Conferenza “Dall’acciaio al mito – La velocità, la libertà ed il lavoro”
Un incontro dedicato alle storie di Romeo, Vespa e Ape, tre espressioni dell’ingegno italiano che hanno interpretato in modi differenti le esigenze di mobilità, libertà e lavoro.
Attraverso gli interventi dei relatori ripercorreremo vicende, intuizioni e trasformazioni che hanno contribuito a rendere questi mezzi parte della nostra storia e della nostra cultura.
A seguire – Pranzo conviviale
Un momento per ritrovarsi, confrontarsi e continuare a festeggiare insieme.
Dalle ore 14:30 – Alla scoperta del Museo Alfa Romeo
Il pomeriggio sarà dedicato a due esperienze:
- Visita guidata privata alle collezioni normalmente non esposte al pubblico, per scoprire oggetti e testimonianze custoditi dal Museo e conoscere aspetti meno noti della sua storia.
- Visita libera al Museo Alfa Romeo, per esplorare le esposizioni permanenti e ripercorrere l’evoluzione di uno dei marchi più importanti dell’automobilismo italiano.
Un’occasione per conoscere il Museo anche attraverso ciò che normalmente non è accessibile ai visitatori.
UN COMPLEANNO DA FESTEGGIARE INSIEME
Ottant’anni di Ape significano ottant’anni di lavoro, trasformazioni, viaggi e persone.
Significano generazioni che hanno utilizzato questo piccolo veicolo per le necessità quotidiane e altre che, negli anni, hanno imparato ad amarlo, conservarlo, restaurarlo e portarlo sulle strade per il semplice piacere di stare insieme.
È anche questo il significato dell’apismo.
E quale modo migliore di celebrare gli 80 anni dell’Ape se non tornare a Milano, proprio dove venne presentata per la prima volta?

FROM STEEL TO LEGEND – Speed, Freedom and Work
On 23 November 1946, the Ape was presented for the first time at the Milan Cycle and Motorcycle Show. This small vehicle would go on to become one of Italy’s most recognisable symbols of work, ingenuity and everyday mobility.
Eighty years later, Ape Club d’Italia is returning to Milan, where it all began, to celebrate this milestone with an entire weekend dedicated to history, friendship and, of course, our beloved Ape vehicles!
Two days, two iconic venues in Italian motoring history, and a programme taking us from Milano AutoClassica to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese.
An opportunity to come together, enjoy unique experiences with our vehicles and celebrate a story that is still going strong.
SATURDAY 21 NOVEMBER – MILANO AUTOCLASSICA
Fiera Milano Rho
Our anniversary weekend begins at Milano AutoClassica, one of Italy’s leading events for historic vehicle enthusiasts.
And this time, we won’t just be visitors: we’ll drive our Ape vehicles directly into the show!
A special opportunity to take part in the event with our vehicles, surrounded by historic cars, collectors and motoring enthusiasts.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to explore Milano AutoClassica and attend a conference dedicated to the Ape community.
3:30 PM – Conference “80 Years of Ape and the Ape Enthusiast Community”
An opportunity to look back at eight decades of Ape history and explore the world of Ape enthusiasts: the passion that has transformed a vehicle originally designed for work into a symbol of friendship, shared experiences and community.
Evening – Social gathering
We’ll end the first day together with a social evening for participants, sharing stories, memories and experiences with fellow Ape enthusiasts.
SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER – ALFA ROMEO MUSEUM
Arese, Milan
Our second day takes us to the Alfa Romeo Museum, a place that preserves an important part of Italy’s automotive and industrial heritage.
Here, we’ll celebrate the Ape’s 80th anniversary with a programme combining memorable experiences with our vehicles and the discovery of extraordinary stories and collections.
10:00 AM – Ape vehicles on the track!
The day begins with a truly special experience: a lap of the Alfa Romeo Museum’s track aboard our Ape vehicles.
A unique opportunity to take a vehicle originally designed for work onto a track associated with automotive history. Not a speed competition, but an experience to enjoy and remember together.
11:00 AM – Conference “From Steel to Legend – Speed, Freedom and Work”
A journey through the stories of Romeo, Vespa and Ape, three expressions of Italian ingenuity that have shaped mobility, freedom and work in different ways.
Through presentations and historical insights, we’ll explore the ideas, developments and innovations that have made these vehicles part of Italy’s cultural and industrial heritage.

Time to relax, catch up with friends and continue celebrating together.
From 2:30 PM – Discovering the Alfa Romeo Museum
The afternoon will offer two special experiences:
- Exclusive private guided tour of collections not normally on public display, offering a rare opportunity to discover objects and historical materials usually kept behind the scenes.
- Self-guided visit to the Alfa Romeo Museum, exploring its permanent exhibitions and the evolution of one of Italy’s most celebrated automotive brands.
A chance to discover both the museum’s famous exhibits and some of its lesser-known treasures.
AN ANNIVERSARY TO CELEBRATE TOGETHER
Eighty years of Ape means eighty years of work, innovation, journeys and people.
Generations have relied on this small vehicle in their everyday lives. Others have come to love it, restore it, preserve it and take it on the road simply for the pleasure of travelling and spending time together.
That is what the Ape enthusiast community is all about.
